As an ordained minister, Joey has served locally as staff worship pastor, and on many occasions assisted churches in transition as interim worship pastor. While serving internationally, he has led worship, trained worship teams and preached on numerous mission trips while ministering in many nations.

An award-winning songwriter, Joey has written many songs, including worship songs for churches, theme songs for youth camps and schools and he has been a songwriter for Gospel Light.

of worship, but also as a teacher of worship. Included in his book “Waves of Worship”, is an essential worship teaching for all worshipers and leaders. Joey usually teaches this worship exposition in one day seminars, church services, or weekend conferences, retreats or other events.
